Strawberry Blunt is not just a Hip Hop site. We are a movement focused on empowering women!
Strawberry Blunt was founded two years ago by Hala Berry and Miss Santiago. These business-minded ladies came up with the idea of having sweet, smart, and sexy girls get together with one goal in mind– to empower and educate women in hip hop. They began as a YouTube page and were featured on the popular hip-hop blog site www.ThatsEnuff.com.
The all-female run website has generated a presence in the Hip Hop industry that will continue as a legacy to out live it’s founding members! They have expanded their brand and name by adding members to their movement. Strawberry Blunt now consists of over forty-five amazingly talented women that have a few things in common– the industry, fashion, radio, news, and most importantly… the love of hip hop. Hip-hop is not just music for the SB ladies; it is their way of life.
A “Strawberry Blunt” is a classy but sassy female who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. They are all very experienced ladies who work in the music/radio industry for some of the biggest stations in New York which includes Hot97, La Mega 97.9, Def Jam, BET, VH1 and ThisIs50.com. Our team of book and street savvy ladies will bring you the latest in hip-hop entertainment news, music, lifestyle, fashion, coverage of exclusive events, and live interviews.

“The Strawberry Blunt Show” is one of the most influential internet radio programs in the tri-state. In the past they have been featured on two notable urban internet stations in the NYC area; DTFradio.com, BottomMusicRadio.com, and AlistRadio.com. The ladies have interviewed artists from the likes Prodigy, Styles P,Fabolous, Soulja Boy, Harry Fraud, Astro Kid, The Kid Daytona, French Montana,Freeway, and Jeremih amongst countless others. The girls are currently taking a break from internet radio, and working on taking their show to new heights.
