You’ve seen those leggy model-types lugging the Oscar trophy to the stage, looking like they might tip over. They’re usually tall, slim…beautiful. We’re pleasantly surprised to learn that this year, the Oscar’s held a contest for aspiring filmmakers to serve as the Oscar trophy carriers. The contestants were required to submit video essays explaining how they will contribute to the future of the film industry. Six lucky winners were chosen. Look out for them on the Oscar’s TONIGHT @ 8:30 pm EST on ABC.
