#BerryBlunt: Lil Wayne Says “Flat Out, I Don’t Like New York”

From being arrested on gun charges after a performance in NY with his YMCMB babe Nicki Minaj, to getting insulted during Hot 97′s Summer Jam by Peter Rosenberg, Funk Flex, and program director, Ebro, Lil’ Weezy really doesn’t have anything nice to say about New York City.

MTV got the 411 on how the Louisiana rapper/skateboarder? really feels about the place where hip-hop was born.

Weezy just flat out said that he just doesn’t like NYC, regardless of what happened at Summer Jam 2012. He said the last straw was due to the negative episode that ensued last week during Nicki’s performance at the Roseland ballroom, which was supposed to make-up for pulling out of Summer Jam.

“Flat out, I don’t like New York. The whole Summer Jam/Nicki thing, I can’t really remember the situation, but I know it was my call. As far as last week['s show], last week was awesome. I think everything happens for a reason, and I think when people say that, you’re not supposed to leave it at, ‘Everything happens for a reason.’ I believe everything happens for a reason and then you make the most of that reason. I think we made the most of it last week.”

Didn’t he announce that he was retiring from the rap game to become a pro-skateboarder? Honestly, you don messed up by saying that cuz’ that’s the sh*t New Yorkers don’t like! We got bigger problems, like fighting the ban on beverage sizes. Go skateboard somewhere.
