#BerryNews: Jason Kidd Arrested For DUI

39-year old Jason Kidd just signed his brand new $9 million contract with the NY Knicks last week, but irresponsible behavior just hit the player with a DUI charge on Sunday morning. According to USA Today, Jason’s 2010 Cadillace Escalade struck a telephone pole, ran off the road, and went into the woods near his Hamptons home.

His intoxicated state was first witnessed at the big “Fostering A Legacy” benefit the night before. Jason reportedly had to be carried out of the party as he appeared “incredibly drunk.” So drunk that witnesses who spoke to TMZ said he tried to hang from a club light at one point and broke it.

Hope everything works out for Jason. Don’t drink and drive, people.
