#BerryReal: Timbaland & Missy Elliot Will Have NO Involvement in Aaliyah Posthumous Album

A lot of rumors and statements have been made involving Aaliyah’s posthumous album. Blackground Records, Aaliyah’s uncle’s label,  confirmed that Drake will be executive producing the Aaliyah project. Rumors also started spreading about Timbaland and Missy being involved in the production, however this is not true. Missy’s manager Mona Scott-Young released a statement letting us know the deal,

The statement:

“Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate.” It continues, “We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”

How do you guys feel about an Aaliyah album without the help of Timbaland or Missy???
