@CeeLoGreen To Play @Raekwon’s Father in C.R.E.A.M Biopic!

XXLMag.com reports that the Grammy award winning singer Cee Lo Green has been contacted to play Raekwon’s father in is upcoming biopic entitled C.R.E.A.M.

The Lady Killer agreed to act in the upcoming movie after a short phone call from the Chef.

“Cee Lo Green [is] playing my pops in the film,” claimed Rae.

“Cee Lo is gon’ play Raekwon’s ol’ dad! [...] [He’s] a good friend of mine. When I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He’s just one out of the greats that’s gonna be on the project.”

Cee Lo Green joins the C.R.E.A.M. cast that includes The Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish, who is set to play young Raekwon in the film.  In regards to distribution, Rae is looking for a nationwide release in movie theaters through a possible deal with prestigious production company, Lions Gate.

“We’re definitely going for the theaters,” Reakwon continued. “The people that are gonna be involved with it definitely feel like it’s a great picture, and there’s a definite possibility it’s a Lions Gate film.”
