Things did not end well last night in Philly for French Montana and his entourage. According to NBC 10, the shooting took place outside of the Holiday Inn on Penn’s Landing as Montana and his crew were hanging out with fans following a performance in the area. Authorities said that an unnamed 27-year-old man was shot in the stomach and rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A second fan was also hit and is in stable condition at Jefferson University Hospital.
French took to twitter to send his condolences to the familes of the victims and made it clear that he had a good concert, and had nothing to do with the incident that took place.
French may think he had nothing to do with the shooting, but who knows. Could he have been the target? Was the shooter aiming at anyone who may have been a part of the French Montana squad? The shooting did take place right next to his tour bus. After the Rick Ross scare some weeks ago, MMG and its affliates ought to be very cautious as they travel from city to city. They all can be a target.
