Michelle Obama is not at all surprised, or amused for that matter, in regards to all the Oscars hate. Her cameo via satellite at the Academy Awards last weekend sparked a national response about whether it was good judgement on her part. Critics accused her of trying to steal the show.
“Shoot, my bangs set off a national conversation. My shoes can set off a national conversation. That’s just sort of where we are. We’ve got a lot of talking going on,” the first lady said. Very classy and very “first lady-like” of you Mrs. Obama.
