#MusicNews: @SouljaBoy Shows His New Tattoo, Possibly Signing Yo YMCMB??

Last year rumors surfaced about Soulja Boy possibly signing to Cash Money Records, after Soulja Boy broke the news of YMCMB’s CEO Birdman’s alleged interested in him.

In an interview with Rap-Up, Soulja Boy said:

“I met with Baby and Slim down in Miami. He’s trying to get me to come over to Cash Money…I still got paperwork with Interscope Records, so I’m just trying to figure out what I’ma do. I got a lot of great options on the table — I’ve been a fan of Cash Money since I was young. I’ve been listening to Birdman’s music since I was growing up. I would have never thought.”

Quickly after this story broke, Birdman took to Twitter to shut down all rumors of a possible signing with the young Atlanta rapper.

“YMCMB busine$$ real talk.I neva tried 2 sign n0b0dy thats already sign 2 somebody. We d0nt rock like that. I neva tried 2 sign soulja. But I respect tha lil h0mey work keep gettin it$$$$”

This was probably Birdman’s attempt to shut down these rumors, since Soulja was still currently signed, and it just would’ve been bad business for YMCMB to let the cat out of the bag if they were in any negotiations with the rapper.

But once again, rumors have swirled that there might have been some truth to this.

Yesterday, Birdman tweeted “S/O. that lil homey@souljaboy Real n—a do Real thangs. RichGang YMCMB.”

If this doesn’t ring any truth, Soulja Boy recently got a “Rich Gang” tattoo on the side of his face. One similar to that of Birdmans.
