Big ups to the Miami Heat on not only their win over the Philadelphia 76ers last night (102-93), but also being the first team to secure a spot in this season’s playoffs!
The number one team in the league entirely, with a 46-14 record and .767 win percentage, is now making sure that they have another chance at winning the title this year, for the second time in a row! This was their 17th straight win, while they also broke the franchise record for consecutive wins when they hit their 15th in the victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
As a Miami Heat fan myself, I couldn’t be any more proud…as if we didn’t know they would make it anyway. Team Heat!

After rumors were constantly circulating about how LeBron James and fiancee’ Savannah Brinson seemed to have broken up, or been fizzling out since she missed some huge events for her boo and his team, like their recent visit to the white house and the infamous all-star weekend in Houston, the above “save the dates” were apparently sent out to guests invited to their upcoming September wedding in San Diego. These two have been involved since their high school days and have two sons, LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 5, as seen in the caricature picture above.

We’ve obtained a copy of King James’ “Save The Date” … which instructs his friends to block out Friday, Sept. 13, through Sunday, Sept. 15, for the NBA star’s destination wedding to fiancee Savannah Brinson in exotic San Diego, Calif.
The “Save the Date” even came with a fun caricature of Bron, Savannah and their 2 children … each dressed in their finest wedding outfits. Cute.
I for one have been waiting for this time to come! These two have been engaged since LBJ popped the big question last New Year’s Eve 2011, and I love them together! Wish I could’ve got an invite. Anywho, congrats are in order! Can’t wait to see pics from the big event!
