It’s a celebration for Rih Rih!
If you’re not familiar with Rihanna and the number 7, just listen to this: seven Grammy awards under her belt, seven albums released in seven years, her 2012 777 Tour which consisted of seven shows in seven different cities world-wide in seven days, and her seven covers for Complex Magazine. This number also comes into play with her latest piece of news. Opening Ceremony will be showing a Rihanna exhibit called “RIHtrospective” at their New York flagship store, which will include seven of her best, most popular outfits from her past performances and red carpet looks. Rihanna played a role in which pieces to display, which will include her custom Adam Selman pink lace mini dress she wore at last year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show [pictured].
You will be able to see this display starting this month and it will be shown for three weeks. Also, starting this Tuesday, Opening Ceremony locations and their online site will be the only places you can snag pieces from Rihanna’s very own River Island clothing line, in addition to buying directly from the brand itself [riverisland.com]. Prices range from $45 to $350, so make sure you support the pop princess!
