T.G.I.F meaning Thank God I’m Fresh came about in 2011 looking to bring new direction on urban streetwear fashion. Co Owners and creative directors Al Maddin and Jahi Roosevelt wanted to create a lifestyle brand that reflected their individual taste on fashion that could then be transformed into trendy streetwear fashion. They have a series of designs that range from graphic images and prints mixed with stylish text that grabs the attention of hip-hop and fashion people alike. A majority of their merchandise has a tiger on it representing the fly lifestyle and fresh game almost acting as a mascot to that lifestyle. They have a variety of tee-shirts, baseball tees, and tanks for every type of urban streetwear fashion fiend alike. Whether you are a “Young Bosses” or “Heart Break Kid” there is a shirt for you.

T.G.I.F has been seen on Kanye West, Big Sean, and Ludacris to name a few celebs who are behind this urban streetwear movement. When shopping on their website you will hear their T.G.I.F. song in the background expressing their clothing in a musical way which I find very innovative. My personal favorite design is the “Young Bosses”. I love the combination of the graphic image of a girl who looks tough but sexy at the same time. I would totally wear that tee with a pair of novelty premium denim, spiked accessories, and my wedged sneakers.
