#NewVideo: @NativeRaeen – “New York” Prod. By @The83rd Dir. By @oAdriennenicole

Angel Haze has released the visuals today for “New York”, the lead single off of her Reservation EP.  In the video, directed by Adrienne Nicole, Haze role-plays a merciless masked assassin prowling the streets of New York, metaphoric for how she expects to slaughter this rap game. She wrote “New York”, produced by The 83rd who is also featured in the video, at the homebase of the creative collective Covert Crew in Brooklyn.  She’d only been in BK for a couple of months when she wrote the track, but even then she had the confident inkling that she was destined to conquer the world’s greatest city and beyond. She’s traversing London ground on business at the moment, confirming to the twitterverse that she’s been in the studio with Roc Nation’s rising songstress, Rita Ora.
