#VideoRecap: Asher Roth On 106 and Park’s “The Back Room”

Much like he did on his bread back in 2009, a lot of skeptics have been sleeping on the homie Asher Roth. But as of late, Mr. Roth has been steadily reinforcing his presence in the hip hop community, as he preps for the release of his sophomore studio album for which we’re still patiently awaiting a title and release date. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so don’t worry, we’ll wait. I totally respect his decision to hold off, as he’s incentivized by wanting to hone in on his originality and character. At any rate, he recently visited BET studios to drop some bars on “106 and Park’s” The Back Room. The Philly representer lets ya’ll know that Ash is coming back better than ever. Watch him lay down a shrewd verse that blends both comical and politically-conscious lyricism after the jump.
